Jose D´ Aragon was born in Zaragoza (Spain) in 1965 and his musical career is already beginning

at the age of four.


His musical engagement focuses on the piano and the classical guitar.

He started performing as a soloist at the age of six. At the same time he studied composition and harmony with the organists of the Basilica

Prof. Gregorio Garces Till and Dr. Gonzalez Valle.


In 1983 he finished his music studies in Spain as the best and in the same year travels to Germany to study orchestral conductor, the renowned maestro Sergio Celibidache.


In 1977 (at the age of 12) he won first prize in the “International Classical Guitar Competition” in Spain and appeared on Spanish television and radio.

From now on, his concert activities will take him to the largest cities in Europe.


In 1979 he received the first prize for his work for orchestra "Sinfonia uno" which is played by the national orchestra at special concerts.


In 1984 he continued his concert activities in Europe, with the Bach Kollegium, the Munich Philharmonic, Musica Rinata,

the TV channels "ARD" and "ZDF" and the Bavarian radio and is appointed choir director of the Munich Cultural Institute.

A year later he conducted the orchestra of the Munich University of Music together with Maestro Sergio Celibidache for the recording and concert of the "Mattheus Passion"

by Johann Sebastian Bach.


In 1986 Jose d´ Aragon was asked to perform concert tours in Europe, Japan and the USA as a soloist and conductor and won over audiences and critics alike.


In 1990, Jose d'Aragon was awarded the title of "Doctor of Musicology". He also made several recordings of his own compositions and transcriptions for: "Grammophon", "Ariola", "Pasarela", "Fono FSM" and "EMI".


From 1991 to 1994 he composed and worked for Japanese television as a concert soloist and guest conductor.

He then travels to the USA, where he gives numerous concerts, conferences and international seminars.


In 1997 and 1998 he continues his concert tours through South America together with the national orchestras of Colombia and Venezuela and also acts

as a juror at international competitions.


Jose d´ Aragon writes many works for orchestra such as "Sinfonia uno", the ballet "La Casa Encantada", "Zeitwölbung", "Estudios Sinfonicos", "Danza Macabra", "El clan", "Himno Galaxis" and various compositions Arrangements for the classical guitar.
